Arkansas is proud of the four homegrown Fortune 500 companies headquartered here: Dillard's, Murphy Oil, Tyson Foods and Wal-Mart Stores. These companies are among the more than 100 Fortune 500 parent firms with more than 2,300 facilities in Arkansas.

Wal-Mart Stores was named a Fortune "Blue Ribbon Company" in 2010 for appearing on four Fortune lists including the Fortune 500, Global 500, World's Most Admired Companies, and 100 Top MBA Employers.
Wal-Mart Stores and J.B. Hunt Transport Services made the list of Forbes Most Admired Companies in 2011. Other Arkansas companies contending for the list in 2011 were Dillard's and Tyson Foods.
Arkansas Children's Hospital is among Fortune's 2011 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For.
