Arkansas is in compliance with all legislation pertaining to the proper procurement of state expenditures awarded to minority businesses.
Body:
By law, Arkansas’s state agencies, boards, commissions, colleges and universities must attempt to ensure that “10% of the total amount expended in state-funded and state-directed public construction programs and in the purchase of goods and services for the state each fiscal year is paid to minority businesses."
AEDC's Minority Business Division is responsible for tracking these participating entities in their minority procurement expenditures.
