Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program (ACEDP)
The Arkansas Community & Economic Development Program (ACEDP) is the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the State of Arkansas. The Arkansas Economic Development Commission administers the small cities CDBG program under a grant agreement between the State of Arkansas and the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). Priorities for spending the CDBG funds are set in partnership with the other state agencies that receive HUD funds under a five year consolidated plan, which is updated on an annual basis.
This manual is intended as a reference manual for professional administrators and other persons who will be administering ACEDP grants. Included in the manual are the forms and reports that are required for documentation of compliance with federal and state laws, and with ACEDP policies. The manual was written primarily as a reference, and not as a training document.
