Davis Bell
Davis Bell was appointed to the ARDC in 2017 by Speaker of the House, Representative Jeremy Gillam. He serves on the Rural Community Grant sub-committee. Davis is a fourth generation farmer near Des Arc where he farms corn and soybeans with his two sons. Davis enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and at the lake. He has served on several local, state and national boards for farm organizations as well as hosting international farm tour groups at his farm. Davis currently serves as fire chief for a small rural fire and rescue department, on the local emergency governing board, and in other civic organizations. He is an active member of Des Arc First Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon and Sunday School Director. Davis been married to Jan Sechrest Bell from West Memphis for 37 years. Together they have three children, Gregory and Rebecca Bell and their children, Logan and Perry of Des Arc, Ryan and Sara Bell and their children, Lola and Henry, also of Des Arc, and a daughter Katelyn Skarda and husband Adam and their son, Holden of Little Rock.
