In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Colson ramped up its global capabilities to expedite the urgent mobility solutions for medical equipment. Colson Casters are used for ventilator carts, IV poles, medical carts, beds, and test equipment.
Colson Group received a significant amount of time-sensitive inquiries as the pandemic ramped up throughout the world. Quickly, the company started shipping orders to hotspots, like New York City. As the need for medical equipment rises worldwide, Colson Group is taking action to ensure that the necessary products required for COVID-19 equipment are delivered to manufacturers quickly.
The company set up a global task force to more effectively work with suppliers, distributors, and industry peers to fight the pandemic. The task force frequently meets to review the company’s global footprint to ensure that the Colson Group is responding to demand in the best way possible.

Employees at the Jonesboro facility are working diligently to fulfill demand. As a thank you for hard work, Colson Group increased the minimum salary for employees. In addition, the company created a bonus structure to award employees an additional $2/hour.
