WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (September 3, 2024) – Provalus, a cutting-edge information technology (IT) company dedicated to providing dependable, scalable, top-quality IT services from the heart of America, is hosting a community engagement event in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on Tuesday, September 3. Provalus is expanding to Walnut Ridge with plans to create up to 200 jobs in the community.

"Expanding into Arkansas is a milestone moment for Provalus as we continue our mission to bring transformative opportunities to rural America,” said Mike Keogh, President of Provalus. “This new site will allow us to tap into the incredible talent that Arkansas has to offer, creating jobs that will drive both local and regional economic growth. We are committed to investing in the community and are excited to see how our presence here will foster innovation and development. Walnut Ridge is a perfect fit for Provalus, and we look forward to working with local leaders and residents while making a lasting, positive impact."

Provalus, as described on their website, is driven by a unique purpose: transforming communities from the inside out. Their mission is to uplift rural towns across the U.S. by identifying and developing untapped talent to deliver technology, business, and support services. They hire and nurture the best and brightest minds, offering an exceptional experience to clients and end-users while stimulating local economies.

“Two-hundred, well-paying tech jobs in the town of Walnut Ridge has the potential to transform that community,” said Governor Sanders. “It’s an honor to welcome Provalus’ first investment in Arkansas to Lawrence County. These are the kinds of major announcements we can expect when we cut taxes, invest in our workforce, and make Arkansas an even more business-friendly state.”

“Provalus’ announcement of 200 new technology jobs in Walnut Ridge is an exciting development and yet another big win for rural Arkansas,” said Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. “We welcome Provalus to Arkansas and congratulate the City of Walnut Ridge on this economic development win.”

Through these initiatives, Provalus aims to create sustained economic growth, projecting a multimillion-dollar annual impact in each rural community they engage with. Their mission empowers individuals to build careers in the ever-evolving field of technology. With paid training programs, they have elevated high-aptitude individuals from jobs outside of technology to careers as technical support analysts, network operations and cyber security analysts, system engineers, and more. Provalus is leading a new era of technology talent, strengthening America's future, and leaving a positive, lasting legacy for the next generation.

"Provalus is an absolute game changer for Walnut Ridge," said Walnut Ridge Mayor Chales Snapp. “It is a huge honor that this prestigious company chose Walnut Ridge to locate its first facility in Arkansas. Provalus is a great company that will have a tremendous, positive impact on our city, particularly our downtown area."

"The Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority welcomes Provalus to Walnut Ridge,” said Graycen Bigger, executive director of the Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority. “Their commitment to developing technology talent in rural markets and revitalizing downtown communities makes them an ideal partner for Walnut Ridge.
